It’s not always easy to find the best venue for your wedding near Byron Bay if you absolutely must have live music. Considering alot of venues have strict curfews (yes, even those in the hinterland) and even if they do provide space for live music they’ll often have a policy for no drums or wind instruments.   1.  Bangalow A&I Hall

    Bangalow Hall is a beautiful and large historic hall in the rustic village of Bangalow (10 minutes from Byron Bay). It boasts a very large hall space complete with stage and is often host to music festivals and events so is set up very well for live music. With a music curfew of 11.30pm there is a fair bit more wiggle room when it comes to the live music at your wedding.

    Ewingsdale Hall is a very charming & quaint country style historic hall & church nestled in the hinterland very close to Byron Bay (5 minutes from Byron Bay). The hall & church boast a sweet and lush outdoor area for an idyllic ambience as well as polished floor boards and stage within the hall.

Byron Beach offers space for live music and can move the dining for a dancefloor setting after dining and speeches. Suited to jazz or acoustic band.

    If you want a truly private venue for your wedding this stunning 70 acre property in Nightcap National Forest has a huge outdoor and uncover verandah and rustic fireplace. An ideal place for a stylish hinterland wedding. Nightcap Ridge welcomes live music.

Forget Me Not welcomes live music but must adhere to some guidelines as to the level of decibels allowed. Suited toward jazz or acoustic music but can also accommodate larger bands if preferred.
